Duolingo English

Duolingo English Test (DET) serves as a standardized measure of proficiency in the English language. This assessment is conducted online and is recognized by more than 4,000 universities and institutions globally.

Although it is a relatively recent addition to the field of language assessments, DET has quickly become popular among students aiming to study abroad or find employment in English-speaking nations. The test offers a convenient and cost-effective solution, allowing candidates to complete it from the comfort of their own homes.

As a computer-adaptive test, Duolingo adjusts the difficulty level of the questions according to the test-taker’s performance. The assessment is organized into four distinct sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing.
